Food Review: Burgers Anonymous

<>Who would have thought when we moved to another suburb that I would be closer to good eats in Sydney?  I guess that means we made a good choice then?  Anyway, burger on focus is Burger Anonymous near Sydenham train station.

It is literally a stone throw away from the station.  Although, when we visited it, there were road improvements in the area so we have to go around.  It was late afternoon, so the place is empty.  I was immediately served by a friendly staff.  There was no menu posted on their wall so I looked pretty silly scanning the entire wall of the shop. Lol.

I ordered the Chooklyn, Chuck Jr and a small fries.  While waiting for my order a few people already came in and ordered for take away too.

Burgers Anonymous is a small shop with a few tables inside and bar tables outside.  There was also an arcade where you can play Marvel vs Capcom if I remember it correctly.  The stickers on the wall would remind you of the colorful pop culture.  It was fun.  It has the vibe of a great hang out place.

I didn’t wait long for my order.  Rushed home to dive into it.  The patty on my burger is huge.  But, that’s all it was.  It was big and perfectly presented but taste wise, not something I would definitely rave about.  For me, the katsu patty still goes well with a noodle or rice and not with a bun.  Better keep it that way, I guess.

The Chuck Jr on the other hand, was perfectly cooked.  The bun and the everything in between was a delight to finish.  If only it was mine.  I just took a bite.  The fries was also well cooked and seasoned well.

Perhaps another visit in the shop should be scheduled.  Those fried chicken choices are very inviting.
