<>Just a few days before Holy Week and the Easter festivities have already started. One on the list is the Dodo Sydney Family Show. </>
Set at the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park, this family day event has a free entrance and lots of things to do for the entire family.
Show bags line up the sides when you enter the ground. A booth is located near it where you can purchase tokens/ tickets for the ride. A month before this event, Groupon had a promo for the Dodo Sydney Family Show with an unlimited rides for kids and adults. Since its almost half the price when you purchase it at the venue might as well grab the opportunity. The promo cost $19 for four hours of unlimited rides for the kids. This definitely had my son running around the place pretty happy.
Aside from carnival rides and games, there is a small market area where vegetables, flowers and freshly baked goodies are sold. Some food stalls are also in the area. Food price ranges from $10 and up.
It was difficult to eat as there are only few tables and chairs. One near the food stalls area and the other near the Dodo jumping castle. Be prepared to eat your meal standing up. Also don’t forget to bring your water bottle. We came in at around 10 am and by the time the clock hit 12 it was already very hot. Keep yourself hydrated.
All in all, it was a good day at the park. My son and husband had a lot of fun with the rides. We didn’t buy any show bags but we got a lot of freebies from the ladies from Dodo. We got two small stuffed Dodo, some hat and two bags from electric circus.
The show will run until April 02, 2018.
